Lynwood Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint two (2) dedicated and enthusiastic Student Services Teachers to join our dynamic Student Services team.

We currently have the following positions available :

Two (2) - permanent full-time positions

All positions will commence Term 1, 2024

The successful applicants would support the Heads of Student Services (Lower and Senior School) in ensuring there is a clear, strategic and sustainable focus on social-emotional wellbeing, learning support, attendance and behaviour for all students.

The successful applicants will ideally have the ability to provide timely and appropriate support to students, staff and parents / carers.

The successful applicants will ideally be an enthusiastic and highly focused individual with effective leadership, communication and behaviour management skills.

They should have the ability to form effective working relationships with even the most difficult students and parents through highly developed interpersonal skills.

Their exceptional relationship building skills, knowledge and proven ability to strategically plan and deliver outcome driven interventions for tiers of students will result in high level successes for the students under their care.

  • complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter;
  • complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.

The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
