Qualifications
- Strong Program Management leadership experience, including 8+ years planning and leading medium-large sized programs or multiple smaller programs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the VP level within a matrixed environment
- Knowledge of SaaS technologies and demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams on complex technology programs with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, project / program framework best practices, tools, and techniques
- Strong acumen in software development approach, architecture, and lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams in delivering the best outcome of programs
- Business or program management education or equivalent work experience preferred
Responsibilities
Focus Strategically
- Understands the overall Intuit strategy and facilitates the creation, contributes to and drives execution of the project / program strategy
- Ties the program and Intuit strategy together
- Helps teams understand how the program fits into the overall strategy
- Prioritizes across projects and / or programs to accelerate the delivery of the most strategic work
- Identifies when a decision or tradeoff is needed, drives tradeoff discussions and provides data driven recommendations to stakeholders for decisioning
Deliver Programs
- Develops a high-quality program management plan and breakdowns into manageable pieces that can be delegated or individually owned
- Executes against the plan and adapts to changes and pivots to ensure continuous delivery of business outcomes
- Drives and continually improves the program operating rhythm
- Works across the team to identify risks and issues and presents recommended response plans to stakeholders
- Uses data to assess progress to plan and uses independent judgment to provide insights
- Communicates progress, trends, and insights to stakeholders
Lead Change
- Builds trust across teams and generates broad support for the program
- Understands the impact of the key changes and type of change (process, technology and organization) being driven by the program and develops, executes, and measures success of change management plan
- Acts as a role model and partners with leadership to create a culture where teams are recognized and feel encouraged during change
- Identifies and engages with stakeholders based on impacts of the change
- Understands timely and effective communication
Enable Scale
- Defines and implements program framework best practices, tools, and templates that embody continuous high quality improvements
- Drives areas of improvement within the program in partnership with stakeholders
- Identifies and recommends areas for improvements to processes impacting program delivery
- Participates in improvement of the Program Management craft and is viewed by peers as an expert
- Coaches and mentors others in the business on project management fundamentals
Domain Expert
- Ability to rapidly navigate new program areas, diving deep into a subject area and bubbling information back up to the right level of granularity
- Ability to drive domain specific discussions, leading the experts in the field through active problem solving to reach solutions

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $183,500 - 248,000, Southern California $165,500 - 225,500.
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs .
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
