Job Description
Pay : $22 / hr and eligible for $750 Monthly Bonus based on performance.
The Carrier Onboarding Representative is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of onboarding new carriers. This role involves verifying carrier credentials, ensuring compliance with company standards, and facilitating the integration of carriers into our transportation network.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with carrier partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Carrier Identification : Assist in identifying and sourcing potential carrier partners to expand the company's network.
- Onboarding Process Management : Coordinate and manage the entire carrier onboarding process, including the collection and verification of required documents such as insurance, operating authority, and safety certifications.
- Compliance Verification : Ensure all carrier partners meet company and industry compliance standards, including safety, insurance, and legal requirements.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of carrier information, agreements, and compliance documentation in the company’s system.
- Relationship Building : Serve as the primary point of contact for new carriers during the onboarding process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into the network.
- Issue Resolution : Address any issues or concerns that arise during the onboarding process, working to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the operations, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless carrier integration.
- Reporting : Generate regular reports on carrier onboarding progress and compliance status.
Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience : 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, preferably with experience in carrier relations or onboarding.
- Skills : Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus
