The Position : Part-Time Mohs Technician
Starting pay for this position is negotiable, based on certification and experience. We are seeking a Mohs Technician to work 2-4 days per month.
Attributes and position requirements :
- Previous experience Mohs tissue processing
- Mohs Histology Certification
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Strong sense of urgency
- Elevated attention to detail
Responsibilities :
- Under the direction and supervision of the Mohs surgeon(s), you will be expected to organize, prepare, embed, freeze, cut, and stain post-operative cutaneous tissue.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and tools.
- Prepare appropriate reagents and solutions.
- Maintain and file slide records.
- Abide by safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe workspace
