Note : The candidate will be allowed to work remotely. There is a mandatory three-week training onsite at the beginning in Raleigh, NC.
Job Description :
- This data quality analyst will serve as a SME on clinical data and ehealth record systems.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- Expert knowledge of health information exchange (HIE) data standards and formats and Electronic Health Record Systems’ (EHRs) data architecture.
- Experience with Subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, EHRs, HL7 v2 and C-CDA messages

- Proven experience with clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, data quality management, and validation
- Experience with analyzing and documenting processes and requirement specifications and developing clinical workflows
- Understanding of general IT architectural principles, technical designs and specifications
- Knowledge of HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interact as a productive team member on a project team or manages a project task.
- Ability to weigh alternatives and consequences to make informed decisions on current operational issues.
- Understanding of Medicaid programs and the data / reporting needs for Medicaid Enterprise Systems implementation, population health management and quality measurement.
- Understanding of client's DAV program.
