Job Details

Responsibilities :

As an Assistant Mortgage Loan Officer, your primary responsibilities will include :

1. Assisting Mortgage Loan Officers in gathering and organizing borrower documents necessary for loan origination, processing, and closing.

2. Providing exceptional customer service to our clients throughout the entire loan process, from initial contact to post-closing.

3. Understanding and applying knowledge of residential mortgages, home loans, and conventional mortgage loans to ensure the best possible service for our clients.

4. Managing and tracking loan pipeline and ensuring all loans are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

5. Understanding and adhering to all federal and state regulations relating to mortgage lending, including NMLS requirements.

6. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth loan closing processes.

7. Continually updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Mortgage Loan Officer position has :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage origination, customer service, residential mortgages, home loans, NMLS, conventional mortgage loans, loan closings, and loan closing processes.

2. A current NMLS license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.

3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. A strong understanding of mortgage loan products and an ability to match clients with the product that best meets their needs.

7. Proficiency in using mortgage loan software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

8. A commitment to integrity, professionalism, and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
