We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our Thermal Analysis department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office.
This is a 4 month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in January 2025.
Under the supervision of a senior analyst, the successful candidate will perform structural analyses of space antennas and electronic equipment using the finite element method.
Responsibilities :
- Calculate temperature distributions and heat fluxes in space antennas and electronic equipment;
- Recommend modifications to designs based on thermal analyses;
- Select the appropriate thermal protections;
- Generate analysis reports in order to demonstrate that the subsystems comply to their requirements;
- Generate thermal test procedures or reports.
Experience and skills required :
- Have completed 90 credits of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering before the beginning of the internship with a general average better than 3.2 / 4.0;
- Demonstrate a sense of initiative;
- Course in Finite Element Analysis successfully completed;
- Knowledge of Nx software.
