Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair manual and automatic transmissions for a diverse range of truck models
- Utilize specialized equipment and tools to ensure precise and efficient transmission repairs
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of repair processes in customer service databases
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to foster a positive atmosphere
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- ASE Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission repair
- Proficiency in both manual and automatic transmission systems
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent computer proficiency
