Position : Quality Inspector
Shift : 2nd
Our client is looking for a responsible Quality Inspector. This is a Direct placement position with our key manufacturing client.
To be considered for this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED along with 2-3 years of sheet metal experience. Principle Duties
- Coordinate any testing and inspection activities with outside vendors
- Complete material testing plans based on independent laboratory results
- Review all supplier certifications, material and special processing to ensure compliance to requirements
- Work with supply chain and team lead personnel to correct any certification non-conformances
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Required
- Quality documentation review experience a plus
- Knowledge of aerospace industry (design, MRO) a plus
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials and coatings a plus
- Strong work ethic
- A high attention to detail
- Must work well with others and be flexible in handling a variety of tasks
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GD & T skills highly emphasized
