Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a Radiologic Technologist to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA.
Generous Sign On Bonus up to 20K, plus relocation and moving allowance for qualified candidates!
Hours / Shift :
Full Time Permanent Weekend Days
Fri & Sat 8-hour shifts Sun & Mon 12-hour shifts
Department / Position Overview :
Are you looking test your skills and learn new ones? Join us in the Radiology Department at our Level I Trauma Center! You will be exposed to a wide variety of studies and procedures with both inpatients and outpatients.

Job Requirements :
Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
ARRT, Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.
Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include : positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy / pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient
room / equipment / medications.
Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.
