Job Title : Cash Application Specialist
Location : Irving, TX Hybrid (Mostly remote with the option to go onsite if preferred)
Candidates must have a personal laptop or desktop; computer equipment will not be provided by the client.
Pay : $19-21 / hr.
Schedule : Flexible within the hours of 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday
Job Description :
As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will play a vital role in researching and applying aged unapplied cash, reconciling short-paid invoices, and identifying workflow inefficiencies for the client’s $3.
8M project. This position is essential in ensuring accurate and timely AR processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Research and apply unapplied cash to customer invoices
Reconcile short-paid invoices and investigate discrepancies
Identify workflow inefficiencies and suggest improvements
Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to analyze data and manage reports
Work independently and ensure all deadlines are met
Collaborate with team members when needed

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements :
REQUIRED : Strong AR accounting and reconciliation experience
REQUIRED : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and IF statements
REQUIRED : Must have own PC and monitors for remote work
NetSuite experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter, able to work independently and know when to ask for assistance
