POSITION SUMMARY : BYLD is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell BYLD’s cold formed steel framing approach to the design and construction industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets by delivering BYLD’s innovative software and hardware to construction, architectural, and engineering firms.

Position is remote. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Sales & Business Development : Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the construction and engineering sectors, specifically those requiring cold-formed steel framing solutions.

Market Analysis : Analyze market data, trends, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities, target emerging sectors, and position cold-formed steel framing solutions effectively in the marketplace.

Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Consultative Selling : Provide technical consultation to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of cold-formed steel framing, its benefits, and how it can be applied in various construction projects.

Technical Knowledge : Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, building code, and innovations in cold-formed steel framing to effectively present and sell solutions.

Project Coordination : Work closely with engineering and construction teams internally and externally to ensure smooth project execution, from initial client consultation to final contract.

Proposal & Bid Preparation : Develop and submit detailed proposals, quotations, and bids that align with client needs and project requirements.

Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with the marketing and management teams to develop sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and outreach initiatives to expand market presence.

Performance Tracking : Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.

Customer Support : Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction, address concerns, and facilitate future business opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS : Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of construction, engineering, or steel framing industry experience. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of cold-formed steel framing, engineering principles, and construction processes.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Sales Skills : Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets in a technical or construction-related field.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to a diverse audience.

Client-Focused : Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate framing solutions.

Travel : Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as needed. PREFERRED SKILLS : Experience in cold-formed steel framing projects.

Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to cold-formed steel structures. Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

Experience working with architects, contractors, and project managers.
