About Us

CompDME provides Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and ancillary services to its patients, primarily to the workers' compensation industry.

We offer a range of products and services, including medical equipment, transportation, translation services, and home health care, such as skilled nursing and therapy.

Our goal is to make it easier for clients, such as injured workers and their providers, to access these necessary tools and services in a timely and cost-effective manner .

CompDME's services also include Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), medical bill review, and customized Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks to help ensure cost-efficient, high-quality care for their clients .

Overview

Responsible for communicating with customers, providers, adjusters, and billing teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our organization.

The role requires high attention to detail and monitoring of bill flow between the organization and customers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for customer service duties on behalf of the Company including screening calls exercising appropriate business etiquette, routing calls, taking messages, and greeting clients and visitors to the Company.
  • Responsible for preparation and editing of documents and spreadsheets as requested by the Company and its customers.
  • Responsible for performing administrative duties including but not limited to timely photocopying, faxing, mailing, scanning, and filing.
  • Responsible for shipment and receiving of materials.
  • Responsible for assisting customers of the Company including but not limited to customer claim system assistance, reviewing electronic file reports, adjuster support, provider support, reconsiderations, manual bill handling, and monitoring bill submission.
  • Responsible for acting as customer service liaison by addressing and resolving issues, questions, concerns, or problems raised by customers of the Company.
  • Works as an effective team member, coordinating with others and contributing to the overall success of the Company.
  • Maintains cooperative and effective workplace relationships and adheres to the company Code of Conduct.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

  • High School graduate or certificate of High School equivalency required.
  • Minimum 3 or more years' experience in the field or in a related area, or combination of education and relevant experience acceptable.
  • Extensive knowledge of common software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform processing duties with minimal supervision.
  • High degree of professionalism and personal presence.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times.
