Schedule : Full-time Work schedule below is subject to change, must be flexible with work hours. Monday : 12 : 30pm-7 : 00pm, Tuesday : 12 : 00pm-8 : 30pm, Thursday 7 : 30am-6 : 30pm, Friday 7 : 30am-5 : 00 pm, and Saturday 7 : 30am-2 : 30pm (every other working Wednesday when not on Saturday) We are also at GlenOak’s hospital which is a 7 minute drive from the Bloomingdale office.

The Friday shift is at GOMC. Location : UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group : Asthma & Allergy Bloomingdale 303 E.

Army Trail STE 403, Bloomingdale, IL 60108 The role you’ll contribute : Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

The value you’ll bring to the team : + Administrative duties : + Use computer applications. May include, but not limited to : EMR, Microsoft Word and Excel + Answer telephone calls + Update and file patient medical records + Checking in patients + Schedule appointments + Perform data entry + Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies + Clinical duties : + Escort patients to testing and exam rooms, measure vital signs and records all information in patient’s chart + Collect and prepare laboratory specimens + Phlebotomy + Prepare and administer vaccinations as directed by a physician + Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations;

Assist the physician during examinations + Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment + Explain testing to patient + Perform screening tests such as audio and vision + Perform chain of custody drug screens + Obtain all test results for each patient, and alert physician of abnormal results + Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Qualifications EDUCATION AND REQUIRED : + High school diploma / GED required.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED : + BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
