Quadric
Burlingame, California, US
Full-time

Quadric has created an innovative general purpose neural processing unit (GPNPU) architecture. Quadric's co-optimized software and hardware is targeted to run neural network (NN) inference workloads in a wide variety of edge and endpoint devices, ranging from battery operated smart-sensor systems to high-performance automotive or autonomous vehicle systems.

Unlike other NPUs or neural network accelerators in the industry today that can only accelerate a portion of a machine learning graph, the Quadric GPNPU executes both NN graph code and conventional C++ DSP and control code.

Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.

Role :

As a key member of the engineering team, you will lead development of prototyping platforms (FPGA and HAPS). Hands-on experience implementing an FPGA based system is essential.

You will collaborate with internal teams to help optimize Quadric’s products.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 7+ years of experience in FPGA design and implementation
  • Experience with FPGA and / or HAPS top-level systems Vivado or equivalent toolchain
  • Experience with implementing flows to map CPU / GPU RTL on FPGA based platforms for emulation purposes

Responsibilities :

  • Develop flows to run HW verification tests, SDK tests and NNs on these platforms
  • Build regression environments to ensure flow evolves with HW and SW changes
  • Triage failures and do first order debug before handing issue to HW or SW team
  • Keep broader team informed about progress with execution dashboards

Benefits :

  • Provide competitive salaries and meaningful equity
