Job Summary
This role will have responsibility for end-to-end Solutions Engineering and leadership of all service delivery functions within Optimum’s B2B portfolio.
The position requires team leadership, technical acumen, and financial rigor. This role requires cross-functional partnership with sales, product, and various operational teams to successfully deliver services to end customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Service Delivery department with a primary focus on Solutions Engineering within the telecommunications sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of telecom services to clients.
- Provide leadership in establishing a well-defined and streamlined delivery process and governance
- Partner with Sales to improve customer experience and response time to quotes and solutions
- Partner with IT to help drive automation and eliminate manual intervention to drive digital experience utilizing ML and AI
- Drive the development and execution of project plans, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality service delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for escalated issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular assessments of project solutions and implement improvements to optimize service delivery processes.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align service delivery goals with overall business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating relevant innovations into service delivery strategies.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of service delivery initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a telecommunications company, with a focus on service delivery and technical project management.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication technologies, networks, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and meet client expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective service delivery strategies.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
