Processes appropriate paperwork to ensure that all transactions relating to employment are processed in a timely fashion including the creation of positions, job changes, new hires, separations, tax withholding, direct deposit, address and benefit elections.
- Handles all first level employee questions around pay, benefits, labor contract interpretation, and determining the employee should engage their supervisor before escalating to HR.
- Coordinates employee engagement events for rewards and recognition program.* Responsible for recordkeeping I-9 verification process.
- Responsible for the collection of new hire documents and physical personnel folders.* Exercises individual judgment while dealing with potential or real personnel or employee relations issues and understands when to escalate to manager"s attention.
- Develops and communicates notifications to employee population on occasion.* Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.
- Records and maintains up-to-date status of hourly and salaried personnel files for location.* Responds to employee issues / questions relating to company policy, benefits, employment and general procedures.
- Organizes meeting logistics (conference rooms, meals, AV equipment, meeting supplies).* Issuance of employee ID badges as required
