Salary : $22-25 per hour
LR Dynamics is seeking a full-time entry level Machinist or Machine operator to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. A machinist or machine operator at LR Dynamics is responsible for keeping our machines running while insuring quality parts are being made, continuous improvement through out the shop, 5’s work area and inspecting each of their assigned projects.
Our products ship worldwide and we serve a very stable industry.
Responsibilities :
- Operate equipment within the machining and fabrication departments
- Manage / follow projects through the machining process
- Work closely with lead to facilitate quality product and on-time delivery
- Produce parts that meet customer specifications and requirements using machining equipment and measuring instruments
- Estimate time production and materials required for machining jobs
- Identify and execute continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects
- Cleans and maintains machining equipment
Qualifications :
- Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans and drawings
- Background in machining blueprint interpretation and reading
- CNC setup experience required (i.e ability to attach tooling, chucks, attachments, and alter machining offsets)
