The program Manager will monitor and facilitate evidence-based substance use and misuse prevention and mental health curriculum.
Monitor and Deliver presentations at schools and community sites about how to live healthy and productive lives. Conduct awareness campaigns to reduce the use and misuse of alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, prescription drugs, and other substances.
Participate in community events for families. Responsible for accurate completion of monthly reports and other documentation related to the progress of participants in the program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions
- Excellent written communication and computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal communication plus supervisory skills
- Time management required to meet service goals
- Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to be CPR and PBMA certified
- Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required
Education and Experience
- Bachelors / Master’s degree / Licensed in social work, psychology or related field with ability to maintain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing
- 2 year in a supervisory role are Preferred
- Experience working in the mental health field Preferred
