What You’ll Be Doing :
- Set up, monitor, and conclude dialysis sessions for patients with precision and care.
- Check equipment, vital signs, and perform tasks that keep patient care safe and efficient.
- Provide top-tier patient care, assess patient conditions, and adjust treatment based on physician and nursing guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment with thorough disinfection and proper equipment setup.
- Ensure all equipment is ready, well-stocked, and tested to meet Hema-Tec and hospital standards.

Requirements : Job Requirements :
Education
- Completion of a Dialysis Training Program and CCHT Certification required.
- Demonstrates commitment to ongoing education and meets CCHT requirements.
- Keeps current with advancements in nephrology through continuing education courses required by Hema-Tec and our partner hospitals.
Experience and Skills
- One-year experience as a Dialysis Technician required.
- Three years experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred .
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities, especially with critically ill patients.
- Completion of a Basic Dialysis Education program.
- Able to manage dialysis patient care autonomously and respond to emergencies with confidence.
- Skilled in communication with MDs, RNs, and hospital personnel, with proven organizational and time management abilities.
- Must meet the Ishihara Color Blindness test requirement.
- Dependable work ethic and a dedication to a team-centered atmosphere.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions :
- Be prepared for a healthcare setting with moderate noise levels and temperature control.
- Frequent interactions with patients, hospital staff, and physicians.
- Travel is required between hospitals and community locations, with shifts that may vary.
- Expect a physically demanding role with heavy lifting, patient movement, and equipment operation support from coworkers and equipment aids is available for safety.
- The role requires prolonged standing, bending, and movement of dialysis machines and supplies weighing up to 200 lbs.
