They're now on the search for a Treasury Manager, who can support in optimising their financial function.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Treasury Manager to join my client's finance team in CT / NYC . The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in treasury management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

This role is critical in managing the company’s financial assets and liabilities, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring the efficient execution of our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cash Management : Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash flow forecasting, managing bank accounts, and optimizing liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Funding & Investments : Manage the company's investment portfolio and debt obligations, ensuring optimal returns and compliance with financial policies.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making related to capital structure, financing options, and risk management.
• Treasury Operations : Ensure efficient treasury operations by implementing best practices and leveraging technology for process improvements.
• Compliance & Reporting : Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management.
• Risk Management : Identify and manage financial risks, including interest rate, currency, and credit risks. Develop and implement hedging strategies as necessary.
• Banking Relationships : Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms and services for the company.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the accounting, finance, and project development teams to align treasury activities with overall business objectives.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Experience : 4-7 years of treasury management experience, preferably in the renewable energy or utilities sector.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management systems. Strong understanding of financial instruments and capital markets.
• Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Leadership : Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
• Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
