The Advanced Care Center of Butler is a comfortable and home-like 29-bed skilled nursing center that provides high quality short-term rehabilitation services and comprehensive nursing care to help individuals successfully return to home.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall planning, development, organization and progressive direction of the nursing services department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations as well within the philosophical framework of Lutheran SeniorLife and CQI principles.
Ensures the highest degree of quality nursing care is administered to all residents with respect and continuous recognition of their rights.
The Director of Nursing primary areas of overall responsibility include but not limited to : nursing administration, resident medical care, admissions, financial operations and reimbursement, nursing personnel, medical records, staff education and training, infection control.
Qualifications :
Current RN license required. Bachelor’s degree related to Health Care Administration or Business Administration preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of progressive supervisory experience required. At least 3 years Long Term Care experience preferred.
Graduate of accredited school on nursing. Possess a current RN License in Pennsylvania.
Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
