DESCRIPTION :
Intellectual Property Specialist
HYBRID : 1 WEEK IN OFFICE / 2-3 WEEKS REMOTE
RESPONSILBILITES :
- Prepare and file patent / trademark applications and other documents with the USPTO.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patent and trademark processes.
- Familiarity with multiple filing systems to include WIPO / ePCT, USPTO Patent Center and US Trademark Office.
- Generation of various documents and communications.
- Docketing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prepare and file domestic and foreign patent and trademark applications.
REQUIREMENTS :
- The ability to work independently and work well in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize workflow, multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to problem-solve, think independently and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information.
- Strong computer skills including immediate skills in Microsoft Office products and various IP databases.
- Interpersonal skills to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients.
