Job Title : Supplier Relations, Coordinator
Department : Supplier Relations

General Function :
This individual will have primary responsibility for executing supplier partnership assets, along with additional back up for team.
Ideal candidate should possess the ability to think fast and react with good judgment with alignment to the Hy-Vee brand.

Reporting Relations :
Accountable and Reports to : Director, Supplier Relations

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist with the ad program and assets planned with supplier partnerships.
- Interaction with multiple departments, category managers and suppliers to successfully plan assets pertaining to supplier marketing contracts.
- Assist in updating multiple spreadsheets and presentations as needed.
- Track asset execution monthly with accounting teams and suppliers.
- Upload compliance assets; follow through with multiple departments for timely execution.
- Create Proof of Performance packets for yearly meetings in June and end of Fiscal Year.
- Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Handle customer requests, issues for both supplier and store related inquiries as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics :
- The ability to handle multiple projects in a day under pressure to meet deadlines : good interpersonal relations, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with figures.
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally & written.
- Experienced with problem solving and organization within a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience :
- High School, three to five years of related work experience.
- Skilled in the following applications : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Physical Requirements :
- Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Must be physically able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects as well as perform sedentary work
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities : kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions :
The duties for this position are normally conducted in an office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Equipment Used to Perform Job :
Standard office equipment including telephone, 10-key calculator, copier, fax, printer & computer.
Contacts :
Has daily contact with stores, suppliers / vendors, and the general public.
Confidentiality :
Has access to confidential information including knowledge of advertising rates, pricing information, and store sales.
