Mid Hudson CPL, LLC is currently hiring for TEAM LEADERS to join our Bakery!

Overview

Team Leaders are generally responsible for coaching Bakery Team Members throughout their shift to execute operational brand standards and to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

They set goals, provide job assignments, continuously monitor quality, and motivate others providing timely feedback.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Perform all responsibilities of Bakery team members
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in meeting operational goals and execution
  • Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift, including preparation of donuts and bakery products to end-product specifications
  • Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to bakery team members
  • Coach bakery team members as needed throughout a shift providing timely, constructive and clear feedback
  • Support the training of bakery team members as needed
  • Perform oversight of franchisee safety, security and profitability policies / processes throughout a shift
  • Communicate clearly with the next Shift Supervisor to help prepare him / her for shift
  • Ensure Food Safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices are met
  • Manage work stock throughout the shift
  • Accurate and timely completion of position required documentation

Education / Experience :

  • Basic computer skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Previous leadership experience in restaurant, manufacturing or hospitality preferred

Physical Demands / Working Conditions :

  • Standing on feet
  • Repetitive motion including bending, stooping and reaching
  • Lifting objects, boxes, pails and baskets up to 50 lbs (if applicable)
  • Working in a variety of areas
  • Strict uniform requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices

Arrives on time

  • Can foresee problems before they occur
  • A leader and role model for the employees
  • Previous managerial experience strongly preferred 2+ years
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work Weekends and Holidays
