JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a person who possess a sound knowledge of the techniques of audit in a high-paced environment. The Auditor role is responsible for executing remote audits of the accounts placed with our network partners as well as supporting audit requests from TRAK’s broad client base. No travel is required.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The audit role is one which encompasses multiple tasks which need to be done in an efficient and effective manner. The Auditor must perform internal audits, along with client-generated audit requests.
The Auditor must also assist in the gathering of requested information on an on-going basis for multiple clients.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations and management policies;
- Report audit results to management and recommend changes in operations and financial activities;
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings;
- Maintain detailed and concise records of requests to network partners to ensure receipt of what is needed to complete the audit;
- Review documentation returned from network partner to ensure that correct information has been provided;
- Complete proper follow-up with any network partner who is non-responsive or provides inadequate, incomplete or incorrect documentation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Four year undergraduate preferred
- One to two years related experience and / or training a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Preferred Skills / Abilities / Experience :
- Sound understanding of civil legal proceedings
- Collections or recoveries experience
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and / or experience in debt collection industry
