Position Overview :

As a Senior Superintendent, you will lead and supervise all on-site activities for commercial ground-up projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for the overall project execution, from initial planning through to project completion, with a focus on delivering quality results and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Leadership : Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial ground-up projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.

Safety Management : Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits.

Quality Control : Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct inspections and address any issues promptly to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Schedule Management : Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.

Address any potential delays or issues proactively.

Budget Oversight : Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports. Ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and effective communication throughout the project.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and compliance records.

Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Team Leadership : Mentor and manage on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Provide guidance and support to junior staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects, with a proven track record of managing complex and high-profile projects.

Sector Expertise : Extensive experience in commercial construction, with a deep understanding of the requirements and challenges associated with ground-up projects.

Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.

g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.

Licenses : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
