Shift Security Supervisor to join our Public Safety team of our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

About the role

To ensure the security and safety routines and tasks are properly completed in accordance with established standards.

What will you be doing?

Ensure all security personnel functions are being properly completed by the department

Ensures that all personnel are properly assigned at all times

Review all reports completed by security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission

Maintain a good relationship with all departments in the hotel

Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards

Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents incurred by guests and associates

Responsible for guest room surveillance in conjunction with Security Director

Ensure that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Security Director

Ensures all security equipment (walkie-talkies, radios, cameras, etc.) is kept clean and in good working condition

Monitors all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, garage area, and room service area to control non-guest an / or associate access

Reports all associates using unauthorized hotel entrance / exits when reporting to or leaving work to the Security Director

Patrol all areas and be a visible deterrent

What do you bring to the role?

Previous experience in a security role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience in a supervisory role highly desired.

Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.

Must have a customer service mentality.

Must pass MVR background check
