State and Local Tax Manager
Our client has an immediate opening for a State and Local Tax Manager! At this level, we are looking for local or remote talent.
The State and Local Tax Manager will join an outstanding team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and develop client relationships.
- Involvement in various state and local tax projects.
- Research and consult on all tax matters.
- Creating State and Local Tax opportunities within client base.
- Interact directly with the IRS or state tax authorities.
- Prepare for audits and notices.
Qualifications :
- 6+ years experience of management.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; MBA preferred.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Managerial State and Local Tax experience.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
