About the Job :
In This Role, You Will :
- Partner with business unit leaders to advise on policies and recommend talent strategies based on business needs.
- Act as a general consultant to management to help them understand employee and workplace issues.
- Responsible for the implementation of employee development and succession planning initiatives.
- Assist in development and communication of strategic initiatives impacting the division talent.
- Oversee the division talent agenda to ensure proper delivery of HR programs and compliance with labor regulations.
- Ensure management of grievances and implementation of disciplinary procedures are in line with internal processes and labor laws.
- Analyze Talent Management programs to aid in operations of team development and organizational goals.
- Manage the talent planning process, including performance appraisal management and salary administration within the HRIS system.
- Enhance the operations team by accepting ownership and providing innovative solutions to emerging business issues.
- Assist with the development and implementation of programs to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee HR Operations for the specific business unit in relation to employee files and other administrative duties.
- Manage reporting and documentation for HR legal requirements and business processes.
- Apply subject matter knowledge to resolve complex issues within established guidelines.
- Oversee and leverage use of HRIS for all Talent Management processes.
- Exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies to effectively manage programs and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure compliance across multiple states.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required :
- Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in a large, complex, and high-growth manufacturing / logistics organization is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and experience interacting with senior management.
- Advanced knowledge of HR concepts, practices and procedures and employment law and regulations.
- Demonstrated achievement as an HR leader and subject matter expert.
- Experience managing the HR function across multiple geographic locations.
- Ability to apply experience and judgment and work independently to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to create, analyze, report, and manipulate data as it relates to HR metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively without sacrificing quality.
- Proven ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, a plus.
- Experience with Dayforce HRIS, a plus.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), preferred.
Location : This is an in-office role based in Fullerton, CA. Approximately 10-15% travel is anticipated.
