As a Masonry Foreman, you will play a crucial role in managing on-site masonry projects, leading a team of individuals, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities : Manage on-site masonry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Lead and supervise a crew of 4 to 30 individuals, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and promoting teamwork.Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all workers.

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.

Conduct regular inspections of work progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and material usage records.

Utilize software tools to facilitate project communication, documentation, and coordination.Operate and oversee the use of equipment such as forklifts, lulls, scissor lifts, rough terrain machinery, and aerial lifts.

Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks, emphasizing safe work practices and providing training when necessary.

Use critical thinking to come up with cost savings ideas, efficiency ideas, and resolve logistics concerns.Ability to collaborate with team members, spot gaps in drawings or specs, and determine efficient use of equipment for jobs.

Qualifications : Must be able to work within a 70-mile radius between Lafayette and Indianapolis locations, with an even split of time.

Proven experience as a Masonry Foreman with a minimum of 5 years of job experience, preferably with a project scope ranging from $500k to $5m.

Masonry experience and proficiency in performing layout and maintaining project productivity and quality.Strong understanding of software tools such as ProCore, Outlook, Plangrid, and Bim360 a plus.

Possession of a valid driver's license and certifications in OSHA 30, scaffolding, forklift operation, lull operation, scissor lift operation, rough terrain machinery operation, and aerial lift operation.

Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.Open-minded and collaborative team player.
