Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care activities to ensure safe and effective drug therapy through the provision of clinical pharmacy services.

The Clinical Pharmacist delivers pharmaceutical care services by monitoring and intervening in therapeutics to provide optimum outcomes in a cost effective manner.

The Clinical Pharmacist fulfills departmental responsibilities within the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of the hospital.

What qualifications you will need :

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Current Tennessee Pharmacist License or eligible for licensure
• One-year hospital experience or equivalent preferred
• Doctorate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• Excellent communication and computer skills
