Cannon Companies is looking to hire a full-time Fiber Splicer Technician to perform cable installation and maintain fiber optics in the Seattle area.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIBER SPLICER TECHNICIAN / CABLE INSTALLATION
As a Fiber Splicer Technician, you are the driving force behind our success. To our customers, you are the face of our company and always make sure to represent the high standards we strive to achieve as a company.
You complete scheduled cable installations, cable splicing, fiber terminations, and other activities associated with the maintenance of cable and fiber optics systems.
Your ability to read complex splicing install prints comes in handy as you test, certify, and document cable installations.
With careful attention to detail, our technicians troubleshoot and repair minor technical problems. You safely perform your duties both inside and outside of the plant, always making sure to use the appropriate safety equipment.
In order to keep accurate records of any work performed, you document all fiber optic cabling as well as related fiber optic maintenance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIBER SPLICER TECHNICIAN / CABLE INSTALLATION
- 2-4+ years of direct or related experience
- Willingness to submit to a background and drug screening, including marijuana, upon hire
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- This position is a Safety Sensitive, DOT regulated role
Copper splicing experience is preferred. Telecom certifications would be a plus. Do you have above-average customer service and problem-solving skills?

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Night work may be required. Travel may be required.
