The City of Aurora is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Engineering Technician III in the Engineering Division.
The Engineering Technician III performs skilled sub-professional engineering work as chief of a field party engaged in making surveys for construction projects.
Also acts as a construction inspector and as a skilled draftsman performing a wide variety of technical assignments. Responsible for conducting a loca tion, construction, and final survey for projects such as streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, curbs and gutters and parking lots.
Must successfully pass pre-hire requirements including but not limited to a physical exam, drug screen, and background check.
This is a full-time, union position. Beginning salary is $34.72 / hour, after 6 months $35.50 / hour, after 1 year $36.26 / hour, and annual increases thereafter.
