Hours : Mon-Fri , 8am-5pm Location : In Office, Port Washington, NY 11050 Salary : $50,000-$55,ooo Benefits : 401K, Dental, Medical, Paid PTO RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSINESS ANALYST ASSISTANT Set up new products based on information provided by Purchasing Dept.
Update and maintain current product information when needed Maintain all vendor accounts including promotions, product costs, etc.
Creating reports in Excel using functions such as : VLOOKUP, If statements, Round, Substitute, etc. Add pivot tables in Excel to analyze the data.
Run reports to extract data from multiple tables for projects like sales data, customer pricing, sales history. Generate monthly Sales Reports for customers, vendors, and / or Management team.
Analyze and address pricing issues or updates Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales Representatives and Managers regarding account-specific reports and information requests.
Generate and distribute monthly customer and vendor reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Prepare and send weekly internal performance reports to Sales Representatives.
Assist management in the annual budget review by analyzing previous year’s sales data, by salesman, and supporting projections for the upcoming year.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data entry tasks, reducing manual effort where possible. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES electronic data processing and its applications communicate effectively both orally and in writing establish and maintain good working relations with department personnel, staff, vendors, peers, and management understand and learn a variety of business procedures and processes use logic and analysis to solve computer and systems problems analyze and categorize data and information in order to determine the relationship of the data with reference to established criteria / standards explain, demonstrate and clarify to others within established policies, procedures and standards exercise judgement, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving a variety of predefined duties subject to frequent change read and understand professional journals and literature.
