eCommerce Web Merchandiser

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative E-Commerce Web Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online product assortment using Sitecore XM Cloud and Sitecore Discover.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, and a passion for enhancing the online shopping experience for wall and floor tile, tile installation materials, and tools.

This is a hybrid position, requiring at least two days per week in the office in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Web Product Management :

• Manage and update product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing for wall and floor tiles, installation materials, and tools.
• Collaborate with the marketing and purchasing teams to manage new product introductions and product turnover.
• Ensure UGC and product visualization tools accurately represent the product assortment.

Sitecore Discover :

• Leverage Sitecore Discover to enhance the customer journey through accurate and meaningful product categorization, search capabilities and up-sell / cross-sell strategies.
• Analyze customer behavior data to optimize search functionalities and improve product discovery.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase product visibility and drive sales through personalized content.

Sitecore XM Cloud :

• Utilize Sitecore XM Cloud to manage website content and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Customize and optimize web pages to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
• Conduct regular site audits to identify and rectify content discrepancies and ensure brand consistency.

Collaboration :

• Work with the purchasing and material management teams to ensure product specifications are clear, complete and accurate.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align online merchandising with overall marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure product images and site aesthetics meet brand standards.
• Communicate with the customer service team to address and resolve any product-related issues reported by customers.
• Work with the e-commerce development team to identify requirements and perform testing for merchandising-related web development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Sitecore XM Cloud and Sitecore Discover is highly preferred.
• SAP master data maintenance expereince desirable.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and trends.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
