Job Summary
Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to one (or more) people within a specified office or project.
No other position reports to a Project Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Type variety of documents, many highly confidential, using personal computer with word processing software. Set up and / or maintain filing systems, (both hard copy and electronic).
- Screen phone calls, handle routine items, pass others along to supervisors.
- Act as liaison between own department / supervisor and others, such as other departments, external contacts, clients, etc.
Such liaison may be required to arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work, maintain working relationships and public relations, etc.
- Take notes and transcribe correspondence, meeting minutes, etc. Photocopy documents as required.
- Process day-to-day administrative items such as expense reports, check requiests, state licensing administration, operating budgets, etc.
per supervisor's authorization.
- Compose correspondence for supervisor's signature as directed. Coordinate and process administrative items for supervisor's signature.
- Compile data and information and prepare reports for executives and other parties. Prepare reports for management, as needed.
- Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analyses, brochures, etc. per supervisor's request. Such items would usually require research, development and / or interpretation of data.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge / Skills / Ability
Advanced knowledge of general business and company procedures. Ability to type 65-70 wpm accurately. Organization and group coordination skills required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is critical. Proficient research and communicative skills are essential.
Skill in using personal computer and calculator. Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products, particularly, Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Education
4 year business or technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
2 years of administrative support experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
