Job Overview :
- Location : Escanaba, Michigan
- Shifts : 5x8 hour shifts
- Contract Length : 13 weeks, with potential extensions
- Start Date : Immediate openings available
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies in the operating room.
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout surgeries.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to support surgeons during operations.
- Handle surgical instruments, assist with suturing, and manage specimens as required.
Required Qualifications :
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist .
- 2+ years of recent experience in an operating room setting.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Strong ability to function in a high-pressure environment.
