We are a Consumer Electronics manufacturer with multiple plants in the US. We are a growing company with around $70M in annual revenue, and looking to bring on an experienced Controller with a very flexible hybrid work policy.

Are you a financial wizard who thrives on driving business success through astute financial management? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team in a hybrid role at our Cary, IL manufacturing facility.
This role is pivotal in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring our operations are profitable and sustainable. As our Controller, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of all financial activities, including financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a passion for financial excellence.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Controller, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cashflow Statements.
2. Preparing timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
3. Conducting thorough financial analysis to identify and address potential risks and opportunities.
4. Developing and managing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
5. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and implementing robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
6. Providing financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team to support strategic decision-making.
7. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
8. Developing strategies to maximize ROI and meet the company’s financial objectives.
9. Coordinating with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need :
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial accounting.
4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficient in using financial software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a high-performing team.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a strategic approach to financial management.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
