Our dynamic and growing law firm is currently seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney. We welcome applications from candidates with a background in defense who are looking to transition to a defense-oriented practice.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a strong passion for employment law.
Responsibilities :
- Handle a variety of employment law cases on the plaintiff side, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on employment-related matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive client representation.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state Bar and in good standing.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, with a focus on labor and employment law.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Previous defense experience is a plus but not required.
