Overview Schedule : Mon - Fri : 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Food Service Supervisor provides area oversight for multi-functional food service areas (Retail, Catering, Production and Patient Services) in order to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The Food Service Supervisor assists Food Service manager and guides all food service employees by assisting with : schedule coverage, onboarding and training, monitoring employee performance, provides counseling when deemed necessary, conducts staff huddles and in-services on assigned topics as requested by management, is responsible for cleanliness and compliance with department safety regulations;

maintains a safe and sanitary work environment to assure passing of all Federal, State and County inspections; follows all food safety / HACCP guidelines, ensures timeliness and accuracy of meal service, and conducts department specific audits as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 5+ year’s food service experience in acute care, preferably in pediatric setting.

Experience in a lead or supervisor role preferred. Education / Licensure / Certification : High school graduate or equivalent.

Pay Scale Information $46,800.00-$80,850.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
