Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Who we are looking for :
We are currently looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to be responsible for managing the Environmental Health and Safety of the facility.
What you’ll do :
- Employee onboarding / orientation.
- Safety administrative data collection.
- Regularly conduct observation walks to ensure safety compliance is met daily.
- Enter incident / environmental data into Enablon.
- Organize onsite safety committees.
What you’ll bring :
- High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university highly desired.
- Minimum of one year experience working in EHS, compliance or direct field safety
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, strong time management skills and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment with vendors, outside sub-contractors and inhouse installation teams.
Within months, you’ll :
- Complete your Atkore immersion program.
- Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
- Understand Atkore's EHS Enablon system.
- Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures for facilities.
Within -months, you’ll :
- Establish operating rhythm for facilities.
- Partner with HR to investigate and provide corrective measures for on-the-job accidents and injuries.
- Have strong onsite presence / working relationship with construction teams.
Within -months, you’ll :
- Create and update Enablon reports, including environmental metrics in operating rhythm.
- Scope and process fully established for employee onboarding, weekly walks and inspections.
- Be able to resolve any issues quickly and safely.
