We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Director, DAS Deployment who will work closely with the Network Deployment, Technical Solutions, Network Operations, Wireless Solutions (BD) teams, and department executives.
Based in our friendly Atlanta office or in the south-east region, you be responsible for the program management and oversight of 3rd party resources in the deployment of fiber-based wireless networks, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor DAS systems.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Network Operations and Deployment team, you’ll will be responsible for the entire life cycle of Boldyn Network’s DAS projects, from selecting Head-End rooms and initial venue design through customer acceptance.
It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with :
Lead and manage multiple deployments within the assigned region.
Manage client (venue and carrier) deployment relationships.
Manage vendor (material and services) partner relationships to drive overall project progress.
Lead the development of Construction Drawings (CDs) and As-Built documents for all projects.
Lead the development of project Scope of Work (SOW), project cost estimating, competitively bid projects, and vendor selection / qualification.
Provide internal and external reporting and metrics on all active projects.
Attend and / or run project status meetings with clients, partners and / or contractors.
Interact with municipal officials and other relevant governmental agencies as required in the selection, permitting, and approval of DAS and related projects.
Ensure adherence to contract and design specifications while managing cost, schedule, and quality.
Perform regular field inspections, audits and overall quality and safety control for all active projects.
Responsible to manage projects through project close-out and customer acceptance ensuring as-built documentation is complete and accurate in a timely manner.
Perform due diligence related to critical invoicing matters.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree required from accredited university, with a five to seven (5-7) years of equivalent professional experience in project management, in the telecommunications industry
Strong familiarity with wireless telecommunications industry required with technical understanding of network construction and specifically indoor DAS networks.
Must have strong understanding of construction management principles, practices, codes, and regulations, including electrical (NEC), building, and federal / state requirements around installation specifications and quality control including previous exposure to civil work.
Advanced knowledge of DAS theory, products, and OEMs and extensive prior DAS deployment experience.
Strong understanding and experience with fiber and passive network installation standards.
Prior experience and understanding of Head-End rooms and / or Data Centers.
Understanding of AC, DC, DE power, HVAC, and Fire Suppression systems
Strong project management skills, a commitment to quality and cost consciousness, and an innate ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing demands.
Strong client facing sales aptitude with an inherent problem-solving capability.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio is required.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
Excellent organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to develop content for Executive meetings.
Willingness to travel.
Must have an understanding of network quality and protocols including design documentation such as blueprints, network specifications, installation & testing (PIM / Fiber / Power / Line Sweep), quality inspections and maintenance of equipment, cleaning, and servicing to ensure work completed is to expected standard.
Familiarity with engineering principles and protocols including Wi-Fi, RF, Fiber and electromechanical.
Must possess knowledge of contractor management practices and processes to ensure quality, safety, support and adherence to construction management principles and guidelines in collaboration with project managers for project management compliance.
Possess industry knowledge in safety requirements (OSHA compliance) technology, product or solution advancements, equipment developments and network enhancements.
Ability to provide expert guidance to internal and external teams.
Ability to identify installation quality deficiencies, provide guidance to stakeholders, and drive to resolution.
Ability to document or assist in documentation of work being done.

Salary : $130,000 - $207,000 annually
Annual OTE Bonus : 10%
