We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Team Leadership :
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to promote professional growth and team effectiveness.
- Schedule shifts and manage workforce allocation to meet operational demands.
Inventory Management :
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper handling of materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Operational Efficiency :
- Implement and optimize warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Safety and Compliance :
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct safety training and regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Reporting and Documentation :
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and recommend improvements to management.
Collaboration :
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations.
- Address and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations promptly.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3 years) in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
