We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have substantial experience working with and brokering insurance for healthcare facilities such as hospitals, doctor’s offices, nursing homes, and more.
This role involves managing an extensive portfolio of healthcare clients, assessing their specific insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure they have the best possible coverage.
Key Responsibilities :
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, including physician groups, hospitals, nursing facilities, and home healthcare providers.
Conduct in-depth risk assessments for each client and offer expert recommendations on medical malpractice, general liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
Manage the full insurance lifecycle, including policy writing, renewals, claims handling, and ongoing risk management consulting.
Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare regulations, and advancements in healthcare technology to provide informed, relevant coverage advice.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate and secure the most competitive rates and coverage packages for clients.
Educate clients on their insurance policies, ensuring they understand their coverage, exclusions, and any changes to the insurance landscape that may affect them.
Qualifications :
Must have proven experience writing and brokering insurance for healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and other medical providers (3-5 years preferred).
Extensive knowledge of healthcare insurance products, including medical malpractice, professional liability, and workers' compensation.
Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a client-first approach.
Ability to analyze and advise on risk management and insurance strategies tailored to healthcare clients.
Active P&C insurance license is required.
