Position Summary
The CSR II processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. A variety of communication channels are used to facilitate the order-to-shipment process.
The CSR II works in a team environment to accomplish Customer Service goals and objectives. Reports to Customer Service Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries received from a variety of channels for product or order information.
- Coordinate problem resolution with internal partners and sales representative agencies.
- Enter, proof, and edit customer orders and back-orders according to published policies and procedures to ensure accurate pricing, shipping, and customized text instructions.
- Record and process non-compliance issues through designated quality process.
- Enter, proof, edit customer master database of accounts according to required policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
- Two (2) to five (5) years prior customer service experience.
- Knowledge of commonly-used customer service concepts, practices, and procedures used in a manufacturing environment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- LEAN process orientation preferred.
Education and Certification
- High School Diploma required.
- Undergraduate Degree preferred.
