Senior Leader, IT Governance
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Implement Technology Governance Framework : Create a robust governance framework aligned with company objectives and regulatory standards.
- Define and Enforce Policies, Standards, and Procedures : Ensure compliance and risk mitigation through clear policies and standards.
- Establish KPIs and Metrics : Measure the effectiveness of the governance framework with relevant performance indicators.
- Lead Technology Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology initiatives.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Integrate governance practices into technology development and deployment processes.
- Provide Guidance and Support : Offer expertise to technology teams on governance matters.
- Stay Current with Industry Practices : Remain updated on best practices and regulatory changes in technology governance.
Education and Experience :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years in technology governance, risk management, or related fields.
- Skills and Knowledge : Familiarity with governance frameworks like COBIT, ITIL, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Preferred certifications include CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, though not mandatory.
