Audio Visual Technician with design, build and implement a range of AV and digital classroom and conference room technology and tools.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert on advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching / learning environments.
The AV tech will act as an escalation point for AV technology incidents
- Design AV systems for collaboration and teaching and learning spaces
- Support live audio including microphone setup, recording, and running a mixing board
- Design the AV technology using industry best practices including hardware, and software (Crestron / Extron, Cisco Telepresence, WebEx, Zoom and more
- Support and Implement Video Platforms like Zoom, Cisco, Panopto and more
- Video camera experience and higher level zoom knowledge
- Provide appropriate documentation
SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE :
- 3+ years of AV experience (higher ed preferred) including video, web and streaming tools
- Success in planning and implementing new technologies across an enterprise
- Experience with AV tools like Crestron, Sony and Legrand
