Reporting to the Universal Technical Institute Division FP&A Director, the senior financial analyst provides analysis and reporting to drive optimal business decisions.

This includes model creation and implementation of reporting, tracking of key financial data and analysis of new business opportunities.

This position mines and analyzes data, partnering with the business to provide insights and recommendations.

Pay Range $90,000.00 / Yr- $95,000.00 / Yr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Build and update financial models for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analyze current and past trends including all areas of revenue and expenses.
• Updates and analyze key financial and operational metrics, reconciling to our budget and Strategic models.
• Validate and report on month business results, provide insightful information to help our internal partners drive superior results.
• Drive continuous improvements to processes and management reporting within the finance organization to reduce manual effort, redundant work and improve the quality of financial data.
• Adhere to compliance requirements and to the Company’s Code of Ethics
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and (3) years’ of experience in Finance required
• MBA strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience and skills in finance required
• Experience in using PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and or BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense) preferred

Skills

Strong MS Office proficiency, primarily Excel and PowerPoint required

• Ability to analyze accounting data and communicate effectively with senior management (including non-finance professionals) to explain conclusions clearly
• Able and willing to :

o Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks

o Safely ambulate and / or maneuver when on-site at Company locations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders
