For one of our long-term multiyear projects, we are looking for an Application Consultant - Junior Hadoop / Spark-Scala out of Charlotte, NC.
Design and develop a Data Processing application for RDBMS and Hadoop data using Java, Spring boot, Hive, Spark, Scala, Rest API and related technologies.
Leveraging DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation
Test Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code utilizing tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git.
Essential skills :
2-5+ years of Java / J2EE development solid experience; including programming and developing large volume backend data applications.
3+ experience with Spark / Scala, Hadoop, Hive, Java
Should have used Maven / Gradle Build tools, GitHub.
Experience with cloud infrastructure support in mixed Linux and Windows environments.
Related banking industry experience in platforms, banking applications, or online financial solutions.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Familiarity with Agile engineering practices
